Post subject: How Hard? and How Much?

Hi folks

We´re looking at coming to Crete during late July or August for a week or so..

Want to bring some climbing gear but it would only be sport climbing equipment becuse of weight.

I am looking for places with lots of east grades (4 to 6a+).. Can you offer some advice please?

Many thanks,

Tony.

Post subject: Staying..

Hiya

No ideas yet, the plan is to drive south down through Italy and then get a ferry from Brindisi. We will either leave the car in Italy and goes as foot passengers and hire mopeds or take the car over with us..

We were thinking about camping. If we bring the car it has all our gear so can camp anywhere, otherwise will need to look into it but it will need to be carryable to a camptise or hire a tent or stay in a cheap motel..

Thanks, Tony.

Post subject: Kapetaniana

Hi Tony,

Kapetaniana area has a lot of easy routes. There is a guide book too dedicated to the area. More details can be found in this link.

You can buy the book when you arrive in Kapetaniana from Gunnar and Luisa (ask there for their flat)

Cheers
