Post subject: Climbing Crete beginning of August
Hi everyone! I'm planning a climbing trip to Crete the upcomming summer. Quick question. Is it too warm to climb on Crete during this time? I know it will be warm and sweaty days, but will we burn our hands on the mountain/stone? |

Hi Strato, You can always climb routes that are under shadow, usually early in the morning or late evening. The rock is not that hot and you will have no problem to climb all day long. The problem will be that you will need to much water and lots of sun cream. www.climbincrete.com |
