Post subject: Climbing in plakias
I am going to Plakias next month (I know the place well but never tried to climb there). Has anyone been there recently? Is it worth taking all my gear there (I'm a freshman, so I climb up to 6a max)? And in what technical shape the routes are, are the bolts ok there, or is it better to bring some extra protection? Anyone going there the second half of september, so I don't have to teach my wife, how to belay and stuff :) ? |

Hi, Stelios: Thank you, I didn't know that there are some spots in Dhamnoni as well, thay look much more adequate for my level. Great!! Moni: I'll be in plakias from 16.09. till 27.09. So we can defintely meet. I am 30yrs, my weight is aroun 68, so I guess there is no problem with belaying. My email is [email protected]. Give me a note and we can discuss details. Looking forward!!
