Post subject: when and where to climb in Crete

I am thinking of coming on a sport climbing trip to Crete in either
> May or June next year (5B to 7C) and would be grateful if you could tell me

Post subject: Messara

Hi,

Search on Internet for accomondation near Messara area. From there you will be able to reach two of the greatest areas for sport climbing, Agiofarago and Kapetaniana.

Search for further details on the web site about those.

Cheers

Post subject: Climbing guide book

Hi murraysmail,

Yes, no worries. It will be better to buy the climbing guide book which says which sector is under shadow during the day. You can get on copy from Gunnar and Louisa when you arrive in Kapetaniana. Just ask there any local where is Gunnar and Louisa and they will show you.

You can get in touch with them via their web site at http://www.korifi.de/en/?Climbing

There is also another sport climbing area near the beach with many sport routes but haven't find the time to update the web site yet.
