Post subject: Questions about security
Hi everyone I´ll spend ten days en Crete soon and I have planned to take all my climbing equipment with me as I want to climb everyday there. I`ll probably sleep some nigths at beaches or wherever I can, that means that my climbing equipement will sleep in my rental car while I sleep far away from de car. I wolud like to ask if you recommend me to do that or not. I'm from Spain and in some well-known climbing spots thefts are a real problem and I would never left my equipment alone in the car there for a night. That's why I ask. I Hope Crete will be different from spain about this. I would appreciate so much any answer. Thanks a lot

Post subject: Safety on Crete
Crete is a very safe place and I don't think you will have a problem but of course can't guarantee that. Having said that, leaving your climbing gear inside car under the sun (it can go up to 50-60oC inside the car) is not the smartest way to store your gear from terms of safety of the quipment itself. www.climbincrete.com |
