Minoan library sector 1
Area Info
This sector is located on the right of the road as you see the sea (Check image below for details). You need around 10 minutes max to get there. One of the most beautiful routes of the area is located here. An excellent corner at 5c+ fully bolted as usual.
Follow the number 2 while heading down the area. You will see some blue signs on the path until you reach the routes. Number 1 shows an alternative way to reach the area (you need to make an abseil, 15 meters) but if you are heading towards to sector 1 then the best, faster and easiest way is to stick with number 2. Blue sign (P) shows the way to the parking, just a few meters above. The photo taken from the parking. It is located around 2,3km from Kapetaniana. Protection: 8 bolts. Only your rope and quickdraws needed. The whole routes moves on a corner. A must route. One of the most beautiful routes in the area. Be aware a loosen rock somewhere in the middle of the route. Can be avoid easily.

The map shows where the parking is located, just follow the road to the monastery of Koudouma (Moni Koudama in Greek) for around 2.2 km. Somewhere there you will see a plateau where you can park.
